NAKED RAKU

NAKED RAKU is definitely a different method from standard RAKU. A thin slip covers a burnished pot which allows the patterns to be a result of smoke penetration and the result is unpredictable and dynamic. This method requires close attention to the prep and firing conditions, but the results are well worth the effort.
